‘Team Pagbabago’ to bring change, reforms – Dela Cruz

MEXICO, Pampanga — Liberal Party (LP) “Team Pagbabago” vowed to institute “changes and reforms” in this town, according to Albert Dela Cruz.
“Our vision and mission is anchored on our battle cry ‘Pagbabago Mexico.’ Our core advocacy is service and we offer ourselves to bring much needed reforms and changes. The team is not politically inclined; members are fresh faces from religious groups who are church-based. We found ourselves working together in various socio-civic missions for the past two years that is why we bonded together because we believe we could do more for Mexico as a team,” Dela Cruz said.
Dela Cruz told Sun.Star Pampanga the team will provide 98 percent of Mexicanos their own homes and lot titles: “Pabahay at hanapbuhay. This is our centerpiece platform, together with what we call as ‘womb to tomb’ programs like health, education, infrastructure and essential services for the people of Mexico who long for change through a new leadership.”
He said, as the head of Team Pagbabago, he would be able to steer the group once given the opportunity in 2013: “I have been a councilor of this town from 1998 to 2001 before I became vice-mayor in 1995 to 1998.
Then my experience as chairman of the Central Luzon Retirement Industry and chief of Northgate Land, could very well be put into good use in leading Team Pagbabago in the reforms we want to institute if Mexicanos give us a chance.”
His Team Pagbabago will be up in a tight race with the groups of Architect Alex Tumang and incumbent Vice-Mayor Roy Manalastas.
“What Mexico needs now is change and we promise to institute that if given the mandate,” Dela Cruz concluded.
