CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – The Provincial Board approved on Tuesday a resolution that allows Representative Carmelo Lazatin (1st district, Pampanga) to extend financial assistance of P500,000 to the Andres Luciano Memorial Hospital in Magalang town.
Resolution 3247, passed and unanimously approved on first, second and third reading, authorizes Governor Lilia Pineda to enter into a memorandum of agreement (MOA) with the office of Lazatin.

The aid will be for the medical treatment of indigent patients, said Senior Board Member Crisostomo Garbo.
Meanwhile, two other salient resolutions have been referred to respective committees for further deliberation and hearing.
Resolution 3255 authorizing Pineda to enter into a contract of affiliation with the Holy Angel University for the training of their nurses at different government hospitals in the province for school year 2012-2013 was referred to the Committee on Health.
Resolution 3256 that authorizes Pineda to enter into a sisterhood agreement with the Provincial Government of Cebu for commerce, investments, culture and tourism was referred to the Committee on Rules and Legal Matters.
