CANDABA — The town of Candaba is now reshaping its tourism landscape, as several tourists’ facilities such as resorts have mushroomed in some villages here.

Mayor Jerry Pelayo’s tourism program has placed this in the map by turning the former rebel-infested place into a bird sanctuary.
“Naging tahimik ang bayan at nakikilala pa tayo hindi lang sa ating bansa kung maging sa buong mundo pagdating sa turismo,” Pelayo in a previous interview told Sun.Star Pampanga.
The Ibon-Ebon Festival features the municipality of Candaba as the home of thousands of migratory birds from different parts of the globe.
The same festival also showcases its growing duck-egg industry.
