CLARK FREEPORT – Construction works at the North Haven Pharmaceutical was momentarily halted to pave the way for an independent investigation as three more structures have been found to be unsafe and poses imminent danger, the Department of Labor and Employment Office 3 (DOLE3) said yesterday.
This developed as DOLE3 Regional Director Raymundo Agravante issued Tuesday a ceased and desist order (CDO) against the Trass Construction Company, the contractor of North Haven Pharmaceutical situated at the Global Gateway Logistics City here.
“Two pulleys were found to be used in lifting materials during the actual construction which could have probably contributed to the sudden collapse of the vertical wall structure. In addition, three more structures posed imminent danger to workers that as per observation were made from substandard materials. “ Agravante stated in his order issued to Trass Construction Company.
The investigating panel composed of Clark Development Corporation – Engineering Department, Security Department and Labor Department, accompanied by DOLE labor inspectors Antonio Sicat and Renato Pacheco, initially conducted investigation shortly after the incident happened.
The panel found out that the posts and beams which supposedly support the structure were not yet fully constructed.
“Given the height of the wall, the materials used could not possibly hold the structure in place. Safety signage near the erected structures to warn passers-by and workers were likewise not found in the worksite,” said Agravante.
During the course of investigation, Agravante noted that no proof of the approve labor compliance were found at the construction site. He cited Section 5 of Department Order No. 13 on Construction, Safety and Health Program and Section 7 as the possible violation of the erring contractor.
On Friday (Marc 2), four laborers were pinned to death and five others seriously injured when a 9-meter high and 25-meter long concrete wall collapsed past 2 p.m.
The fatalities include Joel Villapando from Calawan, Laguna; Rico Mabaga of Sapang Bato, Angeles City; Ryan Graduito of Dasmariñas, Cavite; and Erwin Laxamana of Capas, Tarlac.
Meanwhile, Rolly Sarmiento and Antonio Resores, both from Oriental Mindoro, are still being observed in the hospital. Joven Mesa, Rey Calos, and Angelito Ganagnag, all from Concepcion Tarlac, have already been released from the hospital. Fortunately, Leo Navarro was unharmed during the said incident.
“I have instructed the Technical Support and Service Division on Employment and Welfare of the DOLE Regional Office 3 and DOLE Pampanga Field Office to profile all casualties involved in this unfortunate incident for possible livelihood and financial assistance the DOLE can extend to them” said Agravante.
A Notice of Stoppage Order from the DOLE has already been posted at the construction site.
The construction firm blamed the incident to a whirlwind that hit the structure sending it to collapse.
CDC, being a close partner of the DOLE, has also issued a similar work stoppage to the contractor and likewise extended financial assistance to the victims.

ANGELES CITY – Five persons were arrested as authorities stepped-up their anti-criminality campaign in separate areas here including Barangays Sapalibutad and Pulung Cacutud recently, police said yesterday.
Police identified the suspects as Ace Adriano, 27; Abella Sunga, 21; Aron Sisono, 21; Martin Estorres, 24; all of Sapalibutad Resettlement Center and Jessie Manarang, 28, of EPZA Resettlement Area, in this City.
The suspects, police said, did not resist when pounced by lawmen in separate places for alleged robbery hold-up and rape offenses.
Police said Adriano, Sunga, Sison and Estorres were spotted by lawmen along the EPZA Road, Barangay Pulung Cacutud on board a tricycle with plate number 1938-RN suspiciously parked in a dimly-lit portion of the highway past 4 a.m. Sunday.
When confronted, policemen noticed one of the suspects clutching a ladies bag believed stolen by the group.
Police said one of the suspects tried to escape and avoid arrest but he was eventually cornered after a brief chase. A knife was seized from him.
Policemen took the bag from the suspects and recovered the items intact including an I-phone, 4-S Apple cellular phone, assorted personal belongings, pictures with nametag of a certain Merlyn Saligumba and cash amounting to Php400.00.
Saligumba, a resident of 850 Tanapayon St., Plaridel I, Brgy. Malabanias, Angeles City, rushed to Police Station 3 after she learned that her bag was recovered. She positively identified the suspects as the persons who robbed her at knife point Saturday evening.
Manarang, on the other hand, was collared by policemen after the suspect’s live-in partner filed acts of lasciviousness complaint against him.
Police said the suspect kissed and touched the private parts of his 14-year-old step-daughter in one occasion inside their residence.
The alleged sexual molestation, police said, was noticed by the victim’s younger brother who immediately told their mother.
The victim was escorted by her mother to a nearby police station and filed criminal complaint against the suspect.
During confrontation, authorities seized a plastic sachet containing dried marijuana leaves.
All the suspects are presently detained at Station 3 as criminal complaints have been filed before the City Prosecutors’ Office.

LIFE’S INSPIRATIONS: “…`If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned’…” (Jesus Christ, in John 15:6, the Holy Bible).
-ooo-
WRONG, MIRIAM, THERE IS HELL: With due respect, I think that Sen. Miriam Defensor Santiago got her readings of the Bible—and of the Roman Catholic doctrine now known as “Vatican 2”—wrong when she said there is no hell, and that any references to “hell” should be taken to mean merely as a figure of speech signifying man’s separation from God.
There is a place called “hell”, Miriam, and even science attests to that. The Philippine Daily Inquirer, in its issue (online at www.inquirer.net and print) of June 24, 2010, reported on sightings by human scientists of this “hell”. Here are some parts of that article, proving beyond doubt that hell exists:
-ooo-
OSIRIS, A PLANET OF FIRE: “Astronomers glimpse distant planet’s lethal moods, Agence France-Presse. June 24, 2010. PARIS—A planet named after ancient Egypt’s Lord of the Dead is a place where human beings would be simultaneously boiled, poisoned and ripped apart by super storms, astronomers reported on Wednesday.
“The distant world, orbiting a bright star in the constellation of Pegasus 150 light years from Earth, is known officially as HD 209458b, but has been nicknamed Osiris, the god of the Egyptian underworld. The label is especially fitting, given insights into the planet’s climate system reported in the science journal Nature…”
-ooo-
REALITIES OF HELL: That scientific finding confirms Biblical verses on the reality of hell. The first verse is Isaiah 66:24 and the second is Revelation 21:8. Both of these verses say there is hell, and both say they are places of eternal fire for those who do not believe in God. Isaiah 66:24 says however that aside from being a place of fire, hell is at the same time a place of eternal worms.
On the other hand, there are verses that talk of fiery hell, right here on earth, when Jesus, our God and Savior, returns. One verse could be found at Malachi 4:1-2, while another one could be found at 2 Peter 3:10-11. Both of these verses say fire will consume the earth and everything in it, the sky, the sun and the stars, leaving out only those who died and live for Jesus.
-ooo-
SOLAR STORMS AND SOLAR FLARES: HARBINGERS OF HELL: On top of these, there is also a batch of Internet postings about Nibiru, a planet that is reported to be approaching the nine planets of our Sun’s solar system, causing huge gravitational pulls that, at the proper time when it has come really near the planet Earth and the Sun, would cause solar flares or solar storms to leap out of the Sun and reach even the Earth.
Do these solar flares and solar storms coming out of the Sun and reaching even the Earth represent the realization of the account of the end of world under 2 Peter 3:10-11? For those interested, here is what 2 Peter 3:10-11 says: “But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire…”
Malachi 4:1-2, a book of the Old Testament, has something similar to say: “… `Surely the day is coming; it will burn like a furnace. All the arrogant and every evildoer will be stubble, and the day that is coming will set them on fire,’ says the Lord Almighty. `Not a root or a branch will be left to them’…”

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – Police authorities, in cooperation with the Department of Public Works and Highways 3 (DPWH3), have started checking water drainage and canals in areas where banks, pawnshops and other big establishments are situated to prevent attacks by “rodents”, a top police official told Central Luzon Daily yesterday.
Supt. Luisito Magnaye, Chief of the Police of the City of San Fernando, said at least 80 percent of covered drainage had been opened and checked of possible traces of “Acetylene Gang” believed responsible in the foiled robbery attempts of a pawnshop and a thrift bank in the City of San Fernando recently.
“Robbers utilize covered canals and drainages before digging further into the prospective target,” said Magnaye, citing the discovery of aborted robbery try in a pawnshop at the New Public Market and the Real Thrift Bank.
Magnaye said robbers dig into the establishment once they got the exact location of the target from where the culvert or drainage is situated. He said the diggings are being made during weekend in time where banks and pawnshops employees are off.
On Monday, the drainage along MacArthur Highway in Barangay Saguin where Planters Bank and other establishments are located were opened and checked, said Magnaye, adding his men continue scouring the canals up to Barangay Telabastagan.
“We started checking canals and drainage system since last Friday, Saturday and Sunday and fortunately no traces or tunneling was discovered,” said Magnaye.
The moved, Magnaye said, is part of the security plan being laid by the city government to protect establishments from “resourceful” robbers. He said his office also held security dialogue with bank managers and pawnshop operators in a bid to protect them from being prospective targets in the future by robbery gang.
Magnaye said he informed the group of various robbery syndicates, including the modus operandi of the notorious “Acetylene Gang” as he encouraged them to install security device as part of their investment.
Magnaye cited as example the foiled robbery attempt at the Real Thrift Bank where suspects aborted the plan after hitting the motion censor installed inside the establishment. He said continuous alarm sent robbers to flee.
There are at least 64 pawnshops and 69 small and medium banks scattered with the city suburbs which are being closely monitored by the police, said Magnaye. He said security device and other alarms are linked to different police station for us to respond quickly in real time.
Close circuit television (CCTCV) camera will also help, said Magnaye.
He said the city government is planning to create a multi-agency body that will inspect banks, pawnshops and related establishments of its security plans.
Philippines wedding planners and wedding reception caterers recommend Clark Philippines as this year’s premier destination for beach weddings and garden receptions. Wedding couples in Philippines no longer prefer traditional indoor venues and hotel ballrooms for wedding receptions in Manila, Angeles City, Subic and Clark Freeport.
Selecting a good and safe event venue in Philippines is not that easy. Many public event venues in resort hotels in Philippines can’t deliver assurances of safety and security. This exposes corporate and private events to risks that are not acceptable to event organizers in Philippines.
This exclusive hotel in Angeles Philippines is a place of leisure that is. The resort has the perfect ambience for a romantic beach wedding and a garden style wedding reception, exactly the kind of wedding venue we have been looking for to get married in the Philippines. Angeles City is near Clark Philippines and just 90 minutes from Manila. Clark is home to some of the best golf courses in Pampanga. It is important to visitor that the family feels safe in a hotel in Angeles Philippines. That is a main reasons that we choose to stay in this hotel in Clark Pampanga outside of Manila Philippines. Many don’t like the hotels in Subic or some of the hotel in Angeles City Pampanga. This highly recommended hotel in Angeles city Clark Philippines does not make them comfortable and secure.

ANGELES CITY – Despite the public’s stereotypical views and issues dragging frat brotherhood into much controversy, the city-based factions here have recently formed an Inter-fraternity and Sorority Alliance for People Empowerment (ISAPE) through the city government.
The group was formed through the assistance and support of Retired Police Inspector Oscar A. Molina, Chairman of the Unified Guardians Brotherhood International Incorporated (UGBII).
Leaders and representatives of the different participating frat alliances have drawn and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
Mayor Edgardo Pamintuan graced and expressed his support in the signing of the memorandum.
“I am truly grateful that the fraternities and sororities of our city express their full support in the local government’s projects instead of involving themselves in acts of vandalism or petty crimes.” Pamintuan.
He added that their commitment during the “Tigtigan Terakan king Dalan” and several environmental campaigns such as the “Lingap king Balen, Malinis a Sapang Balen” clean-up drive is a clear manifestation of their desire to assist the city government in its endeavors.
Joining the mayor are Danilo De Austria Consumido, City Consultant for Political and External Affairs and William P. Aguilar, Executive Director of ACMCC.
The signing of the MoU was held at the Angeles City Library in the presence of the aforementioned city executives, officials and fraternity-sorority members.
Signing the pact are Sunday Waje, Chairman of Alpha Beta Epsilon Kapatiran Organization; Syvil Gamas, President of Alpha Gamma Beta Fraternity & Sorority; Charlie Sia of Alpha Kappa Rho; Lewell Santos, OIC of Delta Psi Epsilon Fraternity; Alvin Ocampo, Chairman of Phi Beta Rho Confraternity; Shem Masigla, President of Pi Sigma Fraternity and Sorority; and Emeraldo Nunag of Tau Gamma Phi/Sigma International Fraternity and Sorority.
The organization will dedicate itself in: (1) Empowering people through active participation in the programs and activities of the local government, (2) Initiating change to counter people’s stereotype on brotherhoods and sisterhoods, (3) Launching barangay-based inter-fraternity activities, (4) Leading their constituents to be of service to every Angeleños, and (5) Preventing inter-fraternity wars and conflicts to preserve unity and peace through the formation of an arbitration committee.
Members have attended rigid discussion, peace talks, issue-settlement conferences and seminars conducted by the Angeles City Multi-Sectoral Consultative Council (ACMCC) prior to the signing.
ISAPE was formed primarily to stop violence and help promote fraternities as useful means of upholding unity and peace throughout the city.

ANGELES CITY – Various multi-sectoral organizations in this city appealed to Malacañang to replace Victor Jose Luciano as president and chief executive officer of the Clark International Airport Corporation (CIAC) instead of pushing through with the renaming of the Diosdado Macapagal International Airport (DMIA) to Clark International Airport (CIA).
The Angeles City Multi-Sector Consultative Council issued a manifesto denouncing the move to rename the airport and instead requested President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III to remove Luciano from his post as CIAC head.
According to the group, Luciano is being insensitive to what the Kapampangans and the Filipinos in general would feel (on the issue of renaming DMIA to CIA), who respect and hold high regards to the legacy of the late President Diosdado Pangan Macapagal.
In their manifesto, the group appealed to President Aquino not to be swayed by the proposals of Luciano.
“Rather than changing the name of the airport, the president should definitely consider replacing Luciano himself,” the group said.
“Para sa amin, walang malinaw na basehan ang panukala ni Luciano, kundi ang lantarang pagsisisip sa kasalukuyang administrasyon,” said Bhot Mangulabnan, a spokesperson of the group.
“Ang panukalang ibalik sa Clark International Airport ang pangalan ng DMIA ay produkto ng sagad-sagarang kaisipang kolonyal,” he added.
The group adds that Clark Air Base is a former military installation of the United States, which became a symbol of incursion and American supremacy here in the Philippines and in Asia.
Covering 2,500 hectares, the Clark Aviation Complex used to be the central facility in the Clark Air Base of the United States Air Force until 1991 when the Senate ordered all US military bases in the Philippines closed and American troops pulled out.
Clark Air Base was named in honor of Major Harold Clark of the US Army Signal Corps who died in a seaplane crash in Panama Canal in 1919. In honor of this aviation pioneer, the American government changed the name of Fort Stotsenberg into Clark.
“Napalayas na natin ang mga Kano, kaya walang dahilan na panatilihin pa natin ang pangalang Clark hindi lamang sa airport, kundi sa buong lugar na ngayon ay ginawa na nating isang malayang kalakalan o Freeport zone,” the group stressed.
At the same time, the multi-sectoral group said they will also conduct protest rallies and mass actions to prevent Luciano from implementing the CIAC board resolution renaming DMIA to CIA.
The CIAC board during its 10th special meeting on October 14, 2011 approved the resolution restoring the name of CIA.
The resolution states that it will restore the name “Clark International Airport” to refer to the Clark Civil Aviation Complex within the Clark Freeport Zone to enhance its international acceptance and to preserve its historical significance.
CIAC clarified, however, that it did not drop Macapagal’s name in the airport, noting that the Terminal 1 will be named as Diosdado Macapagal Terminal (DMT) to recognize the legacy of former President Diosdado P. Macapagal as the first Kapampangan to become the President of the Republic of the Philippines.
Clark International Airport was renamed to DMIA in July 2001 through a board resolution in honor of the late President Macapagal.
AC mutli-sectoral group calls for the ouster of Luciano

A POLL watchdog has opposed the looming return of Smartmatic International in the 2013 midterm elections as technology partner of the Commission on Elections (Comelec).
In a letter sent to the Comelec Monday, the multi-sectoral organization Automated Election System Watch (AES Watch) said it would be best if the Venezuela-based firm would be totally out of the picture in next year’s exercise.
The group said Smartmatic, as the contracted technology provider in the May 2010 elections, “did not deliver the goods fully and well, and in fact disabled major security features in the system.”
It said the Smartmatic and its Filipino partner is far from proving it met the standard provision in Sec. 10 (12) of Republic Act (RA) 9369 with regard to demonstrated capability and “thus failed in meeting the mission-critical requirements for its entire claim of meeting the 99.9 percent accuracy target in the last elections.”
“The election technology provider in the May 2010 polls, Smartmatic-TIM (Total Information Management), should, therefore, no longer be an option and should be disqualified altogether from participating in the 2013 elections,” it added.
To note, the Comelec is reportedly looking to exercise its “option to purchase” agreement with Smartmatic of the Precinct Count Optical Scan (PCOS) machines used in the 2010 polls instead of holding a new bidding for either the lease or purchase of new ones.
Smartmatic, the service provider in the 2010 polls, has not been black listed by the Comelec despite its several boo-boos in the conduct of the presidential elections.
But according to AES Watch, the option to purchase Smartmatic’s PCOS machines is no longer available as its coverage has long expired.
It added that this is aside from the fact that the previous contract is no longer being honored after the firm also informed Comelec that there will be a 20 percent price increase.
“Based on the aforesaid facts, it is clear that the Smartmatic proposal is totally different from the terms and conditions under the original Option to Purchase stipulated in the Comelec-Smartmatic-TIM Corp. Contract. As such, it is a totally new contract proposal altogether and, if accepted by Comelec, will be a clear violation of the rules on procurement which require public bidding,” the group said.
Similarly, the poll watchdog said Smartmatic should not be allowed to participate in the event that a new bidding is held and subsequently disqualified.
It said the impaired the accuracy, security, and auditability of the May 2010 elections should be a ground for disqualifying the company.
“Incidents during the last automated election show the many faults in the system, not to mention acts inconsistent with good faith by Smartmatic, for which it should be blacklisted,” said the AES Watch.
They said that only through the elimination of Smartmatic can the country move forward with the change promised by the Aquino administration.
“The Comelec should open wide its doors to all other technology providers that can comply with the highest standards of transparency, accountability and Philippine laws as well as help provide the best suitable technology system at the most affordable cost to Filipino taxpayers,” said AES Watch.
AES Watch is composed of at least 45 organizations and groups with a strong advocacy for independence, probity, and integrity especially in promoting democratic governance and against electoral fraud of all types.
Among its members are the Philippine Computer Society, National Movement for Free Elections, Transparency International-Phils, Kontra Daya, Transparentelections.org, Kaya Natin Movement for Good Governance, National Council of Churches, and Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines National Secretariat for Social Action. CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – The Philippine National Police (PNP) top official in the province cited the partnership with various local government units as the key to “win the war against criminality.”
Pampanga Provincial Director Edgardo Tinio said the support of the present Provincial Government to the police and the surrounding communities is proof of strong partnership in curbing criminality.
Tinio said “no war is hard to win with the available resources given by the local officials led by (Gov. Lilia) Pineda, who is continuously distributing tricycle patrols to more than 500 barangays in the province.”
He added that the distribution of patrol service vehicles to the barangays is a manifestation of the strong commitment of the Provincial Government in maintaining peace and order.
“Without the resources given by the Provincial Government, we cannot totally achieve our desired goal in waging the war against bad elements,” Tinio stressed.
Recently, the governor led the distribution of 31 tricycle patrol services in Barangay Ascomo, Guagua town.
Ascomo village chief Angelo Layug thanked the governor for giving them patrol services, which they could use in pursuing bad elements in their respective communities.

Corporate team building has been a regular event for almost all companies in the Philippines. Companies bring their staff out for an overnight trip of town to a resort near Manila. Many event organizers prefer a good resort in Clark Pampanga because it is safe and accessible. Shorter distance means less time wasted on travelling and more time, and energy, left for team building programs. And safety is a primary concern for event organizers as well as corporate clients when it comes to traveling out of town for a team building event in the Philippines.
After many years of more or less the same kind of ideas for team building, facilitators have finally come up with something new, exciting and cost effective. This year many team building events in the Philippines will involve camping. Some will opt for something a little more comfortable and go for a concept called glamping which means glamorous camping.
Unfortunately not many resorts in Philippines are designed for outdoor activities. Camping requires vast outdoor space and an ambiance conducive to the fostering of team spirits. Trees for shading and availability of supporting amenities such as campfire grounds are necessary to deliver a genuine outdoor living experience. This resort in Clark Philippines seems to be perfectly suited to this kind of activities.
Glamping at Clearwater Resort in Pampanga Clark Freeport
Teambuilding facilitators have discovered one resort in Clark Pampanga that is perfectly suited to camping events for corporate team building. This teambuilding facility in Clark is Clearwater Resort. This resort offers a full line of glamping equipment from tents of varying sizes to different types if sleeping gear from mats, bags to air beds.
It might have taken Philippines team building facilitators a little while to catch on but many event organizers have discovered the positive effects of using camping as a theme for corporate team building events. Now the search is on for resorts near Manila that offer safe and clean outdoor facilities suitable for camping and other team building activities.

Private space is one of those factors that some inexperienced event organizers often fail to take into consideration when making a choice for a good venue for summer outings and out of town trips near Manila. Theme parks offer interesting programs and shows but fail to provide private space for medium and large groups of 100 or more participants to hang out, rest and conduct private activities in the event venue. In general, a group of 100 people would require a minimum of 1000 square meters of private space that can be used for meetings, storage of personal effects, meals and just to hang out and relax together as a group. For groups of 200, the space requirement is 2500 square meters. Without adequate private space, indoor or outdoor areas, participants are placed in close contacts with other guests and visitors of the venue making the situation highly unpredictable and prone to incidences and altercations.
Here are some factors that event organizers are particular concerned about when asked to select a good destination for a company event such as corporate outing and team building, outside of Manila. Although the north is a highly convenient and rather attractive as a location for group outings and team building, event planners look at underlying issues when deciding on which hotel or resort to hold an event in Pampanga.

SAFETY CONCERNS
While participants pay attention only to the fun side of things, organizers as well as the management look out for their safety and wellbeing throughout the event. Although no one can guarantee absolute safety for their guests, the nature and location of the venue play a significant role in reducing exposure to safety risks. Here are some of safety advantages offered by our properties in Clark:
1. Clark Freeport itself is well known among event planners as a destination that has the lowest crime rate. Even the 60-minute journey to Clark offers not only the comfort of the refurbished NLEX-ScTex highway but it also means that it eliminates potential hazards of travelling on roads through small towns along the way. Once the bus gets on NLEX, the next exit would be Clark itself.
2. Properties of Yats in Clark like Clearwater Resort and Country Club for example are private establishments. Access is naturally restricted and as such, members and guests enjoy a sense of exclusivity while inside this property. Less interaction with the general public further reduces potential safety and security risks.

PROXIMITY TO MANILA
Clark is probably one of the most accessible event destinations outside of Manila not only in terms of distance but the quality of the journey. As mentioned about the direct link from Manila to Clark is all covered by expressways, not only does this make the journey by bus extremely comfortable, it makes the time of arrival very accurate. In other words, your event starts on time instead of one or two hours late because of some unforeseen traffic holdup in one of the towns that the journey takes you through.
The 60-minute journey from Metro Manila to Clark means even more to day-trip excursions. The extra 2 to 3 hours of time saved from the journey means more time to enjoy the facilities. Participants arrive fresh and ready for action instead of feeling exhausted and worn out from a long and tedious journey.

DOLE3 issues CDO vs Clark contractor
News About ClarkCLARK FREEPORT – Construction works at the North Haven Pharmaceutical was momentarily halted to pave the way for an independent investigation as three more structures have been found to be unsafe and poses imminent danger, the Department of Labor and Employment Office 3 (DOLE3) said yesterday.

Cops heighten anti-crime drive in Angeles
About Angeles City, Clark, Subic and PampangaANGELES CITY – Five persons were arrested as authorities stepped-up their anti-criminality campaign in separate areas here including Barangays Sapalibutad and Pulung Cacutud recently, police said yesterday.
Sunday.

Wrong, Miriam, there is hell!
About Angeles City, Clark, Subic and PampangaLIFE’S INSPIRATIONS: “…`If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned’…” (Jesus Christ, in John 15:6, the Holy Bible).
-ooo-
WRONG, MIRIAM, THERE IS HELL: With due respect, I think that Sen.

Police checking canals, drainage system
About Angeles City, Clark, Subic and PampangaCITY OF SAN FERNANDO – Police authorities, in cooperation with the Department of Public Works and Highways 3 (DPWH3), have started checking water drainage and canals in areas where banks, pawnshops and other big establishments are situated to prevent attacks by “rodents”, a top police official told Central Luzon Daily yesterday.

AC forms inter-fraternity and sorority union
About Angeles City, Clark, Subic and PampangaANGELES CITY – Despite the public’s stereotypical views and issues dragging frat brotherhood into much controversy, the city-based factions here have recently formed an Inter-fraternity and Sorority Alliance for People Empowerment (ISAPE) through the city government.

AC mutli-sectoral group calls for the ouster of Luciano
About Angeles City, Clark, Subic and PampangaANGELES CITY – Various multi-sectoral organizations in this city appealed to Malacañang to replace Victor Jose Luciano as president and chief executive officer of the Clark International Airport Corporation (CIAC) instead of pushing through with the renaming of the Diosdado Macapagal International Airport (DMIA) to Clark International Airport (CIA).

Poll watchdog seeks ban of Smartmatic in 2013 elections
Press ReleasesA POLL watchdog has opposed the looming return of Smartmatic International in the 2013 midterm elections as technology partner of the Commission on Elections (Comelec).
Alliance with LGUs key to war vs crime
About Angeles City, Clark, Subic and PampangaCITY OF SAN FERNANDO – The Philippine National Police (PNP) top official in the province cited the partnership with various local government units as the key to “win the war against criminality.”
