Sister’s of Mary the Eucharist started as a home for abandoned and neglected babies in Angeles City, Pampanga. Today, it provides temporary or permanent shelter and home care to abandoned, maltreated and neglected children. It also provides support to children born in the institution to unwed women.

The institution is headed by Sr. Alessandrina M. Casas, the superior of Sisters of Mary of the Eucharist. She and her group has since committed to serve the abandoned,   neglected, deprived, abused, maltreated, or exploited children.

The Sister’s of Mary the Eucharist furthermore provides pastoral care by educating the children in Christian values and character building. The foundation sends the children to school.

With the help of eleven house parent volunteers, the Sister’s of Mary the Eucharist takes care of 54 kids and 11 infants ,

On January 25, 2020, the YATS GROUP OF COMPANIES invited the organisation and the children for a day of fun, food and play in Clearwater Country Club. We were able to deliver various arts and crafts materials for the children.

Mandaluyong High School is a high school located in Mandaluyong, Metro Manila, Philippines. Founded in 1977 through the initiative of the late Mayor Renato I. Lopez, Mandaluyong High School is the oldest public secondary school of Mandaluyong City Due to its lack of classrooms during its pioneering years, some classes had to be held in three different elementary schools. Evolving into a comprehensive four-year public high school with the construction of additional buildings and various facilities, the school now educates around 3,800 students in six buildings. With 55 classrooms, it has the largest facility of all the City’s schools.

Mandaluyong High School was established when Rizal Technological University (formerly Rizal Technological Colleges) started to reduce enrolment with the plan of gradual phase out of its high school department. In 1977-1978, the emerging new secondary school enrolled the first and second year high school students from Rizal Technological Colleges. Mandaluyong High School started to operate on 21 July 1977.

For over the years, CHILDREN’S BETTER LIFE PROGRAM, INC. (CBLPI) has continued to be one of Pampanga’s aid and development agency and charitable institution. Operating as a non-profit organization for children, they rely on the generosity of family, friends, companies and some local officials to raise funds to support underprivileged children’s educational needs. They sponsor school supplies and food and even provide livelihood projects for the children’s parents.

Headed by its founder Miss Reabelle Damasco, CBLPI organizers along with 50 kids had a fun and exciting day in Clearwater Resort last August 10, 2019. The event was organized and hosted by Jade Wang, daughter of Clearwater Resort’s CEO and Vice President, Mr. Denny Wang and Atty. Nimfarina Cristobal-Wang, with the help of their close friends and resort’s staff.


The kids’ special day was overflowing with surprises, meals & snacks, gifts and games. The kids were running wild and free with their loud cheers and uncontrollable laughter as they dip into the Family Cove Pool accentuated by colorful inflatables. A big inflatable bouncy castle was prepared for the kids at the resort’s Peninsula where they played, jumped and bounced with extreme delight and happiness. Delectable hot meals and snacks were also served for the kids at the Brunello Function Room. The kids also showcased their talents through song and dance numbers. Even Jade Wang shared her singing prowess through her own rendition of “Moon River” and “Tomorrow”. Jade also introduced her hedgehogs to the kids who at first were scared to touch its spines. But with the help of Jade, they got accustomed to these cute pets. The program ended with an inspiring speech from Atty Nimfarina Wang and a heartfelt song from the kids.

We were blessed to share a day with these kids. Their smiles and laughter’s were priceless. Their faces beaming with joy. Their overwhelming gratitude to all the staff. No amount of money can compensate this rewarding experience we had with them which will live in our hearts forever.

Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), is the executive department of the Government solely vested with the mandate to be the “State’s engineering and construction arm”, and as such, it is tasked to maintain an engineering and construction arm and continuously develop its technology, for the purpose of ensuring the safety of all infrastructure facilities and securing for all public works and highways the highest efficiency and the most appropriate quality in construction.


 

The DPWH Region III Central Office in San Fernando, Pampanga, recently held their teambuilding activity in Clearwater Resort Clark Pampanga last December 7-8, 2018 attended by 235 participants.  They simultaneously held their activity along with their Christmas Party.

 

The newly built Discovery Hall of the resort served as their venue for their activity. The event went on very smoothly with their properly coordinated programme and well organized activities. After the whole day teambuilding, they also had the chance to experience the relaxing feel and ambiance of the hotel as they enjoyed their free time late in the afternoon.

 

For those indoor events like seminars, meetings and workshops that require a function room, Discovery Hall is the perfect venue.  It is located at the Discovery Cove Area of the resort, just a few steps from the main entrance of Clearwater Resort.  This venue is very ideal for big corporate groups and also for social functions especially weddings and birthdays.  It can comfortably accommodate 150 pax up to 300 pax depending on the required seating arrangement or set-up.

Nature of event: Company Team Building

They had their day tour team-building in Clearwater Resort and Country Club last July 07, 2019.  It was participated by almost 170 employees of the company from their admin, executive and sales department. Their slogan “Eager, Edify, Excel” aims to instill the sense of teamwork among their employees by understanding each other’s strengths, weaknesses and interests.

The Peninsula, one of the outdoor venues offered  by the hotel, served as their venue for their games and team-building activities.  The Peninsula offers a variety of facilities frequently used in team-building exercises.  It is adjacent to the Family Cove Swimming pool and offers a sense of privacy to big groups like Right Price Distributors Corp.  The venue can also be incorporated with other adjacent venues like the Amphitheater and the Frolic Garden to cater to a larger group.   The Peninsula is also highly recommended for company outings, school picnics, awarding ceremonies, wedding receptions, alfresco dinner or socials and even baptismal events.  Panoramic view of the lake of Clearwater Resort can also be enjoyed by the participants as well as access to Family Cove pool.

Visit Hedgehogs in Resort in Clark Pampanga

Visitors who have visited Clearwater Resort in Clark Pampanga and enjoyed the laidback lifestyle around the beautiful lake of Clark Freeport will now have something more to greet them. The staff of this resort in Clark have added six members to the roster. These little creatures are some of the friendliest you will find on Earth, despite the intimidating quills on their small backs.

Seen recently at Clearwater Resort in Clark are six (African Pygmy) hedgehogs, two of them were just 2-month old. The first group of visitors to enjoy their company were a children home from Tarlac. A group of some 45 children whose age ranged from age 6 to 14 were invited to spend a day at this resort in Clark Philippines as part of the charity efforts of this resort. The hedgehogs were brought in to meet the children and played with them for half an hour.

The hedgehogs live in a special habitat created by the resort for them. Protected from natural predators like birds of prey, cats and dogs these cute little creatures enjoy a fairy-tale childhood, free to grow up in as natural and peaceful an environment as possible. So next time you visit this nature resort in Clark Pampanga, you might want to inquire with the front office or the activities center near the rear entrance of the hotel about a visit to the habitat of the hedgehogs.
