MABALACAT — Police apprehended recently a 42-year-old man suspected of selling illegal drugs in Barangay Camachiles here.
\nSuspect Jimmy Bondoc Lawrence, of Santa Lucia Resettlement Center, Magalang town, was arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by elements of the town police led by Senior Inspector Rogelio V. Manalang.
\nSuperintendent Rodney Raymond Louie J. Baloyo IV, town police chief, said Lawrence yielded methamphetamine (shabu) after the drug operation.
\nThe Angeles City Crime Laboratory Office confirmed that the substance seized from the suspect is illegal drugs.
\nLawrence was charged with drug pushing before the Provincial Prosecutor\u2019s Office in Angeles City.
\nAssistant Provincial Prosecutor Christopher J. Dela Cruz confirmed Lawrence\u2019s detention with no bail recommended, according to Baloyo.
\nThe suspect is now detained at the Mabalacat Police Station. He will be transferred to the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology in Angeles City. (Reynaldo G. Navales)
