CITY OF SAN FERNANDO — If plans push through, the Nabuclod Eco-Tourism Adventure Park in the highlands of Nabuclod village in Floridablanca town could be the next world spot in the likes of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil.
\nThe plan to erect a similar gigantic replica of the Risen Christ (Ascension) was mentioned during the Nabuclod Project Technical Working Group (TWG)\u2019s meet recently at Capitol.
\nFourth district Board Member Nestor Tolentino, TWG head, expressed glee over the proposal of Sinukwan director and erstwhile arts advocate Peter De Vera to establish an \u201cicon\u201d in the now renowned Nabuclod area.
\n\u201cIf they did it in Brazil, why can\u2019t we?\u201d said Tolentino.

Although the proposal of Peter De Vera will undergo close scrutiny in a committee hearing, it will be impossible,\u201d said Tolentino.
\nNabuclod has been lately drawing crowds composed of various groups, including non-government organizations to help Aetas and push for environmental advocacies like tree planting.
\nConsultant Roy Imperial proposed and gained approval for the \u201cplant a tree with commitment,\u201d where every visitor would sign a pledge to take care of a tree or more, with fees that will help sustain the development of Nabuclod.
\nAlso approved during the meeting was the regular English tutorials of Aetas who would act as tour guides, as well as the identification of some five hectares for chili plantations based on the Nueva Viscaya template.
