\n\u201cWe hope to start business there,\u201d he said, noting that selling abroad would expand its workforce of 3,000 people.
\nThe Korean business delegation also visited Deretso, in Barangay Del Rosario, City of San Fernando along with More Than a Chair Inc., JB Woodcrafts and Betis Crafts Inc., all in Barangay Betis, Guagua town.
\nLydia Rivera, chief of business development of Department of Trade and Industry-Pampanga, said province\u2019s artisans exported furniture worth US$19.56 million last year compared to US$16.44 million in 2010.
\nPampanga furniture and woodcraft are known for their intricate, classic designs, craftsmanship exemplified by generations of homegrown carvers.
\nShe said the market abroad was promising for local products.
\nDeretso, JB Woodcraft and More than a Chair participated in last years\u2019 China International Furniture Expo after they were picked by Fairs and More Inc., to represent Pampanga.
